Renowned Tollywood filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli recently watched the film Tourist Family and lavished praise on it, describing the experience as profoundly moving. He stated that this film stands among the best he has seen in recent times.

Rajamouli especially commended the talent of the film’s director, Abishek Jeyakumar. “The writing and direction by Abishek Jeyakumar are truly outstanding,” he said, appreciating the director's craftsmanship. He conveyed his gratitude to the entire team for delivering such a fine cinematic experience. “This has given me the best cinematic experience in recent years,” remarked S.S. Rajamouli.

Tourist Family is a Tamil comedy-drama film released in 2025. It marks the directorial debut of Abishek Jeyakumar. Produced by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment, the film features Sasikumar, Simran, Mithun Jai Shankar, and Kamalesh in lead roles, along with Yogi Babu, M.S. Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bhagavathi Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, and Sreeja Ravi in supporting roles. Set in the aftermath of Sri Lanka’s economic crisis, the film revolves around a Sri Lankan Tamil family that migrates to India in search of a better future. The film was recently released to the public.
