Vijay Deverakonda Shares Career Reflections and Talks About Rashmika

Renowned film actor Vijay Deverakonda is preparing to entertain audiences with his upcoming movie Kingdom. As part of the film’s promotional campaign, he shared several interesting insights during an interview with the prominent magazine Filmfare. Vijay Deverakonda spoke openly about his experiences with the film Liger, aspects of his personal life, and his relationships with fellow actors and directors.

Reflecting on the outcome of Liger, Vijay Deverakonda said, “I have great admiration for director Puri Jagannadh. Working with him was a dream come true. When I first heard the story, I thought it was fantastic. However, we did not achieve the results we had hoped for. It is truly disheartening that we could not deliver a hit in our combination.” He added that the film taught him many lessons and brought about significant personal transformation.

Vijay Deverakonda also recalled his close relationships with certain directors. “I share a good friendship with Nag Ashwin, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Tharun Bhascker. I celebrate their successes as my own. I have been involved in all the films directed by Nag Ashwin in some capacity. He considers me his lucky star. He was the director who gave me my first success. I am always ready to work with him. Nag Ashwin is a very good person,” said Vijay Deverakonda.

Speaking about his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, he stated, “I want to act with Rashmika in more films. She is a very good person and a beautiful actress.” When asked about marriage, he clarified, “At present, I am not thinking much about a life partner. But someday, I will definitely get married.” In response to the question, “Do the qualities your life partner should have exist in Rashmika?” Vijay Deverakonda replied, “A girl with a good heart is all I need.”
