Maharashtra Bride Sends Soldier Husband to Duty With Emotional Tribute
As tensions escalate between India and Pakistan, emergency deployment orders were issued to a soldier who had just returned home on marital leave. Despite being newly married, he was required to report back to duty, and his bride bid him farewell with a poignant message: “I am sending my sindoor to the border for the nation’s protection.”

The incident occurred in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district. Manoj Dnyaneshwar Patil, a soldier from Pungav village in Pachora Taluka, was married on May 5 (Monday) to Yamini from Kalamsar village, also in Pachora Taluka. Just one day after the wedding, on Tuesday, he received urgent orders to report for duty amidst what was described as a war-like situation.

In compliance with the directive, Manoj Dnyaneshwar Patil departed for the border on May 8 (Thursday). His departure was witnessed by his new bride, family members, and local residents, who gathered at Pachora Railway Station to bid him farewell.

Speaking to those present, the bride, Yamini Patil, said, “I am sending my sindoor to the border for the nation’s protection.” Videos capturing this emotional moment have since gone viral on social media, drawing varied reactions from netizens.
