Hyderabad Woman Doctor Caught with ₹5 Lakh Worth of Cocaine
A female doctor employed at a reputed hospital in Hyderabad has been caught in possession of narcotic substances, triggering a sensation across the city. The incident has shocked many, as the doctor, who is expected to advise her patients against drug use, has herself become addicted to them. According to police officials, she consumed drugs worth approximately ₹70 lakh over the past year.

Upon receiving credible information, authorities placed her under surveillance. She was recently apprehended red-handed while receiving a delivery of drugs worth ₹5 lakh.

According to details released by the Rayadurgam Police, the woman doctor resides in the APAHC Colony of Shaikpet and works at a prominent hospital in Hyderabad. She has reportedly been addicted to narcotic drugs for several years. She contacted a drug dealer named Vans Thakkar from Mumbai via WhatsApp and placed an order for cocaine worth ₹5 lakh. The payment was made online, after which Vans arranged for the delivery through his associate, Balakrishna Rampyar Ram.

Rampyar, who brought the cocaine into the city, was handing over the packet to the doctor when the police intervened. Both the doctor and Rampyar were taken into custody and are currently being interrogated. Police stated that they seized 53 grams of cocaine from the accused.
