Veteran Actor Babu Mohan Remembers Son, Career Highs in Emotional Interview
Babu Mohan, once a celebrated comic actor who made a lasting impression on Telugu cinema with his distinctive mannerisms and body language, is now living away from both films and politics. In a recent interview with 'Big TV,' he spoke openly about various aspects of his life and career.

“There was a time when I used to stand outside Ravindra Bharathi, wishing I could just get a glimpse of the plays staged inside. Later, I was honoured many times on that very stage. I acted alongside all the present-day senior star heroes, and they always treated me with great affection and respect. Even now, wherever I go, they greet me warmly,” said Babu Mohan.

“I acted in many films with Kota Srinivasa Rao. Just like the iconic pairs of Relangi–Ramana Reddy and Allu Ramalingaiah–Rao Gopal Rao, our pairing too earned recognition. We consider it our good fortune. I never hurt anyone, so I never had to apologize to anyone. I express my gratitude to the directors who encouraged me during my early days,” he said.

“When I face hardship, I first speak to God. When my elder son passed away in an accident, I questioned God—‘Why did You do this?’ Since then, I’ve never spoken of my pain to anyone. Because, truly, what pain could be greater than losing a son?” he said, visibly emotional.
