Ashu Reddy Shares Emotional Video from Hospital After Brain Surgery
Actress and Bigg Boss personality Ashu Reddy, who underwent brain surgery last year, is currently in recovery and has resumed participating in shooting schedules. Recently, Ashu Reddy shared a video on her Instagram account showing herself receiving treatment in the hospital during the time of her surgery.
“This is life, isn’t it? Please be kind to others. Learn to remain grounded instead of flying too high. That way, many people will benefit,” she wrote in the caption accompanying the video. The post has since gone viral across social media platforms.
In response, her fans have expressed their admiration and support through comments. One fan commented, “You are very brave. May God bless you with more strength. You are a fighter.”
Despite doctors advising her to take six months of rest after the brain surgery, Ashu Reddy returned to film sets just two months later. She stated that staying active with work has contributed significantly to her recovery.
While appearing on a recent show, Ashu Reddy became emotional as she opened up about her experience during the surgery. She shared that her hair had to be removed from her head as part of the operation. “It would have been better if it had all been removed completely, but they shaved only half. When I looked at myself in the mirror at that time, I thought my career was over,” she said tearfully.
Ashu Reddy first gained popularity through Dubsmash videos and rose to further prominence after interviewing controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. She later participated in the third season of Bigg Boss as well as the OTT-based Bigg Boss Non-Stop season. She has acted in films such as Chal Mohan Ranga, Boyfriends for Hire, and A Masterpiece.
