HC to hear petitions on TS decision to tax AP vehicles
Hyderabad, April 1,2015: Tourist bus operators and lorry owners have filed three lunch-motion petitions in the High Court of Judicature here challenging the Telangana government's decision to tax AP vehicles entering into TS.
The petitions will come up for hearing at 2:15 PM today.
Meanwhile, TDP MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy on Wednesday appealed to TS Chief Minister KCR to reconsider his decision to tax AP vehicles.
Speaking to reporters here, he said the decision will result in the collapse of transport system in AP.
He defended his decision to breach the Pulinvendula branch canal saying many Kadapa district farmers supported his decision to breach the canal.
"YSRCP leaders are thinking of only Pulivendula interests. The canal has been breached to divert water to other areas in Kadapa district and some areas in Anantapuram district, " he said, defending his decision.
