Ankura Hospitals Enters Central India with New Hospital in Indore
Indore: Ankura Hospitals for Women & Children has expanded its presence into Central India by launching a new 120-bed super speciality hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. With this expansion, the Ankura Group's nationwide network has grown to 18 hospitals.
The state-of-the-art facility has been established in Vijay Nagar, Indore. The hospital aims to provide advanced treatment for high-risk pregnancies, complex neonatal conditions, and congenital disorders. According to the hospital management, residents of Indore and nearby districts such as Ujjain and Dewas previously had to travel to other states for such specialised medical care, and the new facility is intended to bridge that gap.
The hospital was inaugurated in the presence of Indore Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Krishna Prasad Rao Vunnam, Founder of Ankura Hospitals, said, "Our goal is to make world-class specialised healthcare accessible to every mother and every child. The launch of our hospital in Indore is an important milestone in our journey." He added that Indore is an important healthcare hub in Central India and that the organisation is committed to serving families in the region.
The new hospital offers a range of super speciality services, including obstetrics and gynaecology, neonatology, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), paediatrics, a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), fertility and IVF services, advanced labour suites, modular operation theatres, and 24-hour emergency care, according to hospital officials.
With the addition of the Indore facility, Ankura Hospitals now has more than 1,500 beds across its network. The group currently operates in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh.
