According to circulating reports, veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, also known as Balayya, is being considered as a potential replacement for Akkineni Nagarjuna. Despite Akkineni Nagarjuna’s effective and engaging hosting, the show's management reportedly believes that the expected level of positive audience response has not been achieved in recent seasons. It is claimed that viewers are seeking something new, prompting the management to consider a change in the hosting format.
Reports suggest that the show's organizers are contemplating bringing in Nandamuri Balakrishna due to his current popularity as a television host, notably from his successful talk show "Unstoppable." Organizers reportedly believe that having a mass hero like Nandamuri Balakrishna as host could potentially boost TRP ratings and attract additional viewership from his fan base.
Allegedly, the management has already initiated discussions with Nandamuri Balakrishna. With the ninth season of Bigg Boss expected to launch in the coming weeks, efforts are reportedly underway to confirm him as the new host before the season begins.
However, it is also noted that Nandamuri Balakrishna is presently occupied with a tight film schedule. In addition to his film commitments, he continues to be actively involved in politics as the MLA from Hindupur and is hosting the ongoing "Unstoppable" show. Whether he can allocate time to take on the hosting responsibilities for Bigg Boss remains uncertain.
