Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni, the head of Loukya Entertainments—known for producing the National Award-winning film Colour Photo and the blockbuster Bedurulanka 2012—is now producing a new film titled Dandora. Directed by Muralikanth, the movie is currently progressing at a brisk pace.
The film features versatile actor Sivaji, along with Navdeep, Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Manik, Anusha, and Radhya in prominent roles. Having already completed the first schedule, the production has now commenced its second schedule. This phase of the shoot is planned to continue for 25 consecutive days, with Sivaji actively participating.
Sivaji, known for his impactful performances in films such as 90s and Court, is playing a key role in Dandora. The film recently received a superb response to its first beat video release.
The storyline of Dandora is inspired by incidents involving caste-based atrocities, focusing on situations where individuals face violence for marrying or opposing dominant caste groups. Set against a rural Telangana backdrop, the film blends satire, subtle humor, and heartfelt emotion while exploring traditional customs and practices.
The music is composed by Mark K. Robin. The cinematography is by Venkat R. Sakamuri, editing by Gary B.H., art direction by Kranti Priyam, costume design by Rekha Boggarapu, executive production by Edward Stevenson Pereji, and co-production by Aneesh Marishetti.
The makers stated that further details about the film will be announced soon.
