Hyd police acquire software that helps enhance CCTV image quality

Hyderabad, March 27, 2015: To remove bottlenecks happening at times in identifying culprits involved in crimes, Hyderabad police have acquired a software that helps improve and enhance the image quality of CCTV footage because of poor resolution. "Most of the crimes are solved with the help of the CCTV footage but in some cases, we are unable to identify the culprits due to the poor quality of the footage and analogue system," a senior police officer told journalists. The image and quality enhancing software is now available with all police stations and probing agencies in Hyderabad.
