Police Issue Notices to YSRCP Leader Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and former MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy has been issued notices by the Erragondapalem police in Prakasam district. The notices were issued in connection with five cases registered against him for alleged violations of the election code during the 2024 elections.
Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy contested the 2024 elections from the Ongole Parliamentary constituency. During the election period, he was accused of breaching the Model Code of Conduct, leading to the registration of three cases in Erragondapalem, one case in Peddaraveedu, and another in Doranala.
Police officials served the notices to Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy at the YSRCP office in Ongole. Among the cases filed against him, one involves allegations of threatening Erragondapalem Returning Officer Srilakha.
