Khalistani Supporters Attempt Attack on Jaishankar in London
Khalistani supporters are intensifying their anti-India activities abroad. In a recent incident, sympathizers of the Khalistan movement attempted to attack India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar during his visit to London. However, London police immediately intervened and prevented the situation from escalating.
Jaishankar arrived in London on March 4 for a five-day visit. On the night of his arrival, he attended official meetings at Chatham House. After the meeting concluded, as he was leaving the venue, a group of Khalistani supporters displayed Khalistan flags and shouted slogans against India and the External Affairs Minister.
During the protest, one individual from the group approached Jaishankar’s car while holding the Indian national flag and allegedly acted in a manner intended to disrespect it. London police swiftly responded and took the individual into custody.
