Former AP CID DIG Sunil Naik Served Notice in Raghurama Krishna Raju Case
The investigation into the attempt to murder case against former MP and current Andhra Pradesh Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishna Raju has progressed further. The investigating officer, Prakasam SP Damodar, issued a notice two days ago to IPS officer Sunil Naik, who was serving as the CID DIG at the time.

Authorities have confirmed that Sunil Naik was present when Raghurama Krishna Raju was arrested in Hyderabad and brought to the CID regional office in Guntur. Based on this, investigators decided to question Naik regarding his role in the incident. Official notices were sent to him via fax and WhatsApp.

Sunil Naik, belonging to the Bihar cadre, was deputed to Andhra Pradesh by the former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government and appointed as CID DIG. However, after the BJP–Jana Sena alliance came to power in Andhra Pradesh, Naik returned to Bihar, where he is currently serving as DIG in the fire services department.
