Pawan Kalyan Unable to Vote in MLC Elections – Here’s Why
Elections are being held today in Andhra Pradesh for two Graduate MLC constituencies and one Teachers' MLC constituency. Polling is taking place for the Graduate MLC seats in the Guntur-Krishna and twin Godavari districts, as well as for the Teachers' MLC seat in the Uttarandhra region. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh exercised their voting rights at a polling booth in Undavalli.
However, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was unable to cast his vote in these elections. As per the rules, only graduates are eligible to vote in the Graduate MLC elections. Since Pawan Kalyan is not a graduate, he did not meet the eligibility criteria to vote.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan released a video urging voters to support the alliance candidates in the elections.
