Andhra Pradesh Assembly Sessions Begin Amid YSRCP Protests and Chaos
The Andhra Pradesh Assembly budget session commenced, with Governor Abdul Nazeer addressing the joint session of both houses. During the session, former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and other YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) members were seated in the last row.

As soon as the Governor began his speech, YSRCP legislators launched a protest, holding placards and marching toward the podium while raising slogans against the government. They demanded recognition of YSRCP as the main opposition party and called for the protection of democracy. Protesters asserted that granting opposition status to their party was essential to ensuring the voice of the people was heard.

Except for Jagan Mohan Reddy and Botcha Satyanarayana, all YSRCP Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) gathered near the podium to stage their demonstration. The protesters attempted to disrupt the Governor’s address, but despite the commotion and protests, Governor Abdul Nazeer continued his speech.
