Fakhar Zaman Breaks Down in Tears in Dressing Room – Video Goes Viral

Pakistan, hosting an ICC mega event after nearly 29 years through the ongoing Champions Trophy, suffered a major setback in their opening match. The team faced a crushing defeat against New Zealand, leading to widespread criticism from fans.

During the match, Pakistan's star cricketer Fakhar Zaman suffered an injury while fielding in the very first over. As a result, he had to leave the field, and Kamran Ghulam replaced him as a substitute fielder. Fakhar appeared to be struggling with a muscle strain in his thigh.

Despite the injury, Fakhar later came out to bat, not as an opener but at the fourth position. He managed to score 24 runs off 41 balls before being dismissed. While making his way back to the dressing room, he was visibly in discomfort while climbing the stairs. Once inside, he sat down and broke into tears.

Teammate Shaheen Afridi and assistant coach were seen consoling Fakhar in the dressing room. A video of the emotional moment has since gone viral on social media, drawing varied reactions from netizens.
