"Don't Worry... He's Not Coming Here": Bumrah's Wife Sanjana Ganesan's Funny Chat with Bangladesh Star

A lighthearted exchange between Indian cricket presenter Sanjana Ganesan, wife of star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, and Bangladesh cricketer Mehidy Hasan Miraz has gone viral on social media. In the video, the two discuss Bumrah, with Mehidy expressing his thoughts on the fast bowler.

"He is a very different kind of bowler, very dangerous too," Mehidy said. In response, Sanjana jokingly replied, "Don't worry... he's not coming here." Mehidy then laughed and said, "Yes, I know. We are very happy." He later inquired about Bumrah's well-being, to which Sanjana replied, "He's doing well. Currently, he is training at the National Cricket Academy."

Earlier this year, during the fifth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Sydney, Bumrah suffered a back injury. As he had not fully recovered, he was ruled out of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy. Initially, the BCCI had included Bumrah in the provisional squad for the tournament but later dropped him due to the injury. "Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy due to a back injury. The selection committee has named Harshit Rana as his replacement," the BCCI stated in an official announcement.

Meanwhile, in the opening match of the Champions Trophy against Bangladesh on Thursday, India secured a commanding victory. The team will face arch-rivals Pakistan in their second match tomorrow, followed by a game against New Zealand on March 2.
