India vs Pakistan Clash: Fans Urge Pakistan Players to Maintain Rivalry
The ICC mega event, Champions Trophy 2025, is set to commence in four days, with eight teams competing in two groups for the prestigious title. The tournament will be held across Pakistan and Dubai, with the much-anticipated India-Pakistan clash scheduled for February 23 in Dubai.

Due to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) declining to send the Indian team to Pakistan, the tournament is being conducted in a hybrid model, with Team India playing all its matches in Dubai.

In this context, Pakistan cricket fans, expressing their resentment toward the Indian team, have issued strict advice to their players. They have urged the Pakistan cricketers not to shake hands, hug, or engage in friendly conversations with their Indian counterparts during the tournament. According to them, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan and other players should refrain from interacting warmly with Virat Kohli or any Indian cricketer.

A section of fans emphasized that since India refused to play in Pakistan, there is no need for camaraderie with their players. "They should only be seen as rivals. We must defeat them and prove our superiority," stated a fan. Another fan went further, expressing frustration toward the Indian team and hoping that Rohit Sharma's side even loses to Bangladesh in the tournament.

It is worth noting that Pakistan defeated India in the final of the 2017 Champions Trophy, denying India the opportunity to win consecutive titles. India had last won the Champions Trophy in 2013 under MS Dhoni’s captaincy.
