Pushpa 2 Revenue and Tax Details Unveiled by RTI Inquiry

The film Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, has garnered massive box office earnings. Information obtained under the Right to Information (RTI) Act by CPM leader C. Shobhan revealed details about the tax payments related to the movie. The commercial taxes department provided insights into the Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings associated with the film.

The production team submitted monthly GSTR-3B and GSTR-1 returns to the commercial taxes department. Officials stated that these filings included not only the movie’s revenue but also other business transactions. While they did not disclose a specific revenue breakup for Pushpa 2, they confirmed that tax payments for November and December amounted to approximately ₹110 crore. The reported turnover for these two months was ₹642 crore.

Officials further indicated that this revenue likely includes earnings from satellite rights, OTT streaming rights, and overseas audio rights sales.
