Arrest Warrant Issued Against Baba Ramdev – Here’s Why!
The Kerala Drug Inspector had filed a case against both individuals, leading to court proceedings. As part of the investigation, the Palakkad court had previously issued notices to Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, instructing them to appear in person for the hearing on February 1. However, they failed to attend the proceedings on Saturday, prompting the court to issue the non-bailable arrest warrant. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for February 15.
The controversy follows prior government action against Patanjali’s subsidiary, Divya Pharmacy. Authorities had already banned ten of its products, stating that their advertisements were misleading. Consequently, the manufacturing licenses for these products were revoked.
