WhatsApp Bus Ticket Booking Now Available for APSRTC Travelers

The Andhra Pradesh government has introduced WhatsApp-based services, expanding digital convenience for the public. As part of this initiative, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has issued directives allowing passengers to book bus tickets via WhatsApp and board buses using these digital tickets. This facility has been made available for all long-distance bus services. The management has instructed district officials and depot managers to ensure ground-level staff are well-informed about the new system.

How to Book Bus Tickets via WhatsApp?

Passengers who wish to book bus tickets through WhatsApp must send a message saying "Hi" to 9552300009. In response, a list of available services will be displayed. Travelers should select the "RTC Ticket Booking/Cancellation" option and enter journey details such as departure location, destination, and date. The system will then display available services. Passengers can choose their preferred seats and make payments using online or digital payment methods. Once the booking is completed, the ticket will be sent to the passenger's WhatsApp number. Passengers can show this WhatsApp ticket to board the bus.
