Tremors rock Ongole district for 2 seconds
Ongole, March 19, 2015: Tremors rocked Ongole and its surrounding areas including Korisepadu, Cheemakurthi, Addanki and Panguluru this morning. The tremors rocked the areas for two seconds at 09:06 AM and the intensity of the quakes was recorded as 4 on Richter Scale. People ran away from their houses fearing threat to their lives. People in these villages said that utensils and other items in the houses moved during the tremors. Some of them heard peculiar sound . This is the second series of quakes rocking the Prakasam district in the last one and half months.
