Kohli Fails to Impress in Ranji Trophy Comeback, Fans Disappointed

Indian cricket star Virat Kohli, who returned to domestic cricket after nearly 12 years, failed to make an impact in Delhi's Ranji Trophy match against Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Kohli, struggling with form in recent times, had opted to play in the Ranji Trophy in an effort to regain his rhythm. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had also recently emphasized that all national team players must participate in domestic matches when available.

However, Kohli's much-anticipated return ended in disappointment as he managed to score only six runs off 15 deliveries before being clean-bowled by Railways bowler Akash Pandey. Thousands of fans had gathered at the stadium to watch Kohli bat, but their excitement turned into disappointment as the star batter departed early. Many supporters, who had been eagerly waiting since the previous day to see him in action, expressed their frustration over his brief stay at the crease.

In the ongoing match, Railways, after batting first, were bowled out for 241 runs. In response, Delhi struggled in their first innings, losing four crucial wickets for just 97 runs.
