Actor Rana Carries Grandmother Rajeshwari Devi’s Bier at Funeral

Rajeshwari Devi, the mother of the late YT Raja, former MLA of Tanuku, and wife of prominent industrialist Yalamarthi Narayana Chowdary, passed away yesterday in Tanuku, West Godavari district. Her last rites were performed in the evening.

Noted actor Rana Daggubati, who was Rajeshwari Devi’s grandson, actively participated in the funeral procession. His father, Suresh Babu, was Rajeshwari Devi’s son-in-law. During the procession, Rana carried his grandmother’s bier as part of the final rites.

Several prominent personalities paid their respects to Rajeshwari Devi. Former TDP MLA and Nidadavolu constituency in-charge Burugupalli Sesharao visited the mortal remains, offered floral tributes, and extended condolences to the bereaved family. Additionally, several other TDP leaders also paid homage to Rajeshwari Devi.
