Renowned director Sukumar consoled his wife Tabita during a press meet after she became emotional and teary-eyed. The couple’s daughter, Sukriti Veni, played the lead role in the film Gandhi Thatha Chettu, directed by Padmavati Malladi. Sukriti, as a child artist, has achieved significant recognition, winning the prestigious Dadasaheb Film Festival award, as well as accolades from the Dubai International Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India.

The film Gandhi Thatha Chettu has earned widespread acclaim, winning Best Film at the 11th Noida International Film Festival, Jury Best Film at the New Delhi Film Festival, and accolades from the Jaipur International Film Festival and the 8th Indian World Film Festival. It is scheduled for release on January 24, and the film’s team recently organized a press meet to share their excitement.

During the event, Tabita shared her emotions about their daughter’s dedication to the film. She remarked that no young girl would willingly shave her head, but Sukriti did so for her role in Gandhi Thatha Chettu. This gesture deeply moved Tabita, who became emotional while recounting the moment.
