Collegium Recommends Six Judges for High Courts of Telugu States

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of some judicial officers as judges for the High Courts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. According to the recommendations, four names have been proposed for the Telangana High Court and two for the Andhra Pradesh High Court under the judicial officers' quota.

For the Telangana High Court, the Collegium has suggested the names of Justice Y. Renuka, Justice Nandikonda Narsinga Rao, Justice Tirumala Devi, and Justice Madhusudhan Rao. Meanwhile, Justice Hariharinath Sharma and Justice Yadavalli Lakshman Rao have been recommended for the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Additionally, Justice Sujoy Paul has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court. The President issued the official order for this appointment on Tuesday.
