"What Has Chandrababu Achieved by Scolding Officials?": Ambati Rambabu

YSRCP leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu criticized Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that the tragic incident in Tirupati, which claimed six lives, occurred due to Chandrababu Naidu’s administrative failure. Rambabu stated, “Chandrababu thinks his job is done by blaming the officials. What has he achieved by displaying anger towards them?” He further warned that continued negligence of this kind could result in more such tragedies in the future.

Rambabu stressed the importance of keeping politics away from the sacred Tirumala Hills. He remarked that such a horrific incident had never occurred in the history of Tirumala. Criticizing the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer (EO) and Joint Executive Officers (JEOs), he alleged that they were more focused on serving the TDP than on their duty to the TTD.

Taking a dig at the Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Ambati Rambabu questioned his silence on the incident, sarcastically remarking, “The Deputy Chief Minister, who claims to be a protector of Sanatana Dharma, has not spoken a word so far.” He demanded compensation of INR 1 crore for the families of the deceased and INR 25 lakh for the injured. Rambabu concluded by stating that only stern action against those responsible for the incident would bring peace to the victims' souls.
