Hyderabad Police Constable Dies by Suicide

A tragic incident unfolded in Hyderabad as Jatawath Kiran, a 36-year-old constable serving at the Filmnagar Police Station, reportedly ended his life by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence. The incident occurred yesterday evening and was discovered by his relatives, who rushed him to a hospital. However, doctors confirmed that he was already deceased.

Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Kiran’s colleagues expressed shock over the untimely demise of a constable who had a promising career ahead. The reasons behind his decision remain unknown.

This case adds to a recent series of suicides in Telangana involving individuals from diverse professions, including students, businesspersons, and government employees, driven by psychological stress. Just weeks ago, an SI, a woman constable, and a computer operator took their lives in separate incidents, which are still fresh in public memory.
