Kakinada Port-SEZ Case: Vikranth Reddy Files Anticipatory Bail Petition in High Court

Allegations have surfaced against Vikranth Reddy, son of Y.V. Subba Reddy, along with Sarath Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy, for allegedly forcibly acquiring the stakes in Kakinada Port and SEZ. A case has been registered regarding this matter, with Vikranth Reddy listed as Accused No. 1 (A1).

In response, Vikranth Reddy has approached the High Court, seeking anticipatory bail to prevent his arrest. He asserted in his petition that he has no involvement in the Kakinada Port and SEZ issue.

In a separate case, YSRCP social media activist Varra Ravindra Reddy has been remanded to 14 days in judicial custody by the Narsipatnam court. He was accused of posting morphed photos on social media. Following the court's order, Ravindra Reddy has been transferred to Visakhapatnam jail.
