AP Government Approves 53 New Junior Colleges Across the State

The Andhra Pradesh government has approved the establishment of 53 new junior colleges across the state. These include 47 colleges in 37 mandals and six colleges in two urban areas. The orders were issued on Wednesday by School Education Department Secretary Kona Sasidhar.

Inter Board Secretary Kritika Shukla had earlier submitted a proposal suggesting that favorable conditions exist for setting up these colleges in the specified locations. This proposal was approved by the School Education Department, leading to the issuance of the orders.
