Telangana Government Initiates 'Prahari Clubs' to Combat Drugs in Schools

The Telangana government has taken a crucial decision to curb the use of drugs in schools across the state. To prevent drug usage, the government has decided to establish "Prahari Clubs" in high schools. These clubs will be set up in collaboration with teachers, parents, police, and students from grades 6 to 10. 


The government has granted permissions to the Telangana School Education Commissioner for this initiative. Additionally, special measures have been ordered in the jurisdictions of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda.
