Venkaiah: Special status not easy for AP
Hyderabad, Feb 15, 2015: Union Urban Development Minister M.Venkaiah Naidu has reiterated here on Sunday that it is not easy to get special state status for AP.
"It is not that much easy to attain special status for Andhra Pradesh. Didn't I tell you the same a few days back?" he told reporters.
Answering questions on Delhi assembly elections, Venkaiah Naidu said that the results of Delhi elections had nothing to do with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"However, these results have thrown a challenge to BJP leadership. We will respect the verdict," he said, adding, that all non-BJP parities may come together for the next elections. "We will take up that challenge too."
Venkaiah Naidu has lauded the Chief Ministers of AP and Telangana for sitting together and resolving the Krishna water row between the two states.
