Ramoji Rao: A Timeless Legacy, Says Chandrababu Naidu

After paying tribute to Ramoji Rao's mortal remains in Hyderabad, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu spoke to the media. He expressed his inability to come to terms with the demise of Ramoji Rao, whom he described as a legendary figure and a man of great purpose.

"I have known Ramoji Rao for 40 years. He has always worked for the welfare of society and strived for the Telugu people. Born in a humble village family, Ramoji Rao rose to become an extraordinary individual. Today, he is not just a person; he is an institution.

He started with Margadarsi, then launched Eenadu newspaper. There is hardly a household in the state that does not read Eenadu first thing in the morning. Through Eenadu, Ramoji Rao enlightened and informed the public, making them more aware. He was a relentless worker.

I have observed from the beginning that he never compromised on anything. Despite having known him for four decades, he always insisted on one thing: he would work according to his principles and always stand by the people. Ramoji Rao was clear about this.

Moreover, until his death, he had only one desire: to keep working until the end, and he often said that he would be happy if he could die while working. Ramoji Rao was a person who was committed to working for the people until his last breath.

Today, if you observe, the systems he built are permanent. Eenadu is permanent, ETV is permanent. Besides these, Ramoji Rao has rendered immense services to the film industry. He established Ramoji Film City with the highest standards in the country. He could have built a commercial complex or engaged in business for profit, but he built Ramoji Film City with the intention of benefiting the city, generating revenue for the state, and developing tourism.

Ramoji Rao will remain in the hearts of Telugu people forever. Losing such a great person is a profound loss. However, his inspiration remains.

In my life, many events have occurred. Whenever I faced a difficult problem, I would consult him. He would always provide courage regarding the issue. During elections, he always performed his duties according to his principles. That is why people have unwavering faith in Ramoji Rao. He earned immense credibility in his life. Losing such a person is deeply saddening. Nevertheless, his blessings are with the Telugu community. Everyone reveres him.

Ramoji Rao's words still echo in my ears. We will move forward with the inspiration provided by him to develop the neglected Andhra Pradesh.
