Chandrababu Naidu issues B Forms, calls for TDP victory in Assembly elections

Amaravati: Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has strongly criticized Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of resorting to theatrics due to his inability to discuss his administration's achievements. Naidu highlighted issues such as alleged conspiracies involving pensions and other public grievances which, he claims, reflect the people's dissatisfaction and predict Reddy's downfall.

At a recent event at his residence in Undavalli, Naidu distributed B forms to TDP candidates from Srikakulam and other districts, signaling the formal beginning of their candidacy for upcoming state elections. He emphasized that each candidate who has received a B form must win and secure a place in the Assembly. According to Naidu, these candidates were selected based on the preferences of the people and party workers, underlining the party’s democratic approach in a critical electoral environment.

Naidu advised the candidates that with only 22 days remaining until the elections, and just 20 days for campaigning, this period is crucial. He revealed his rigorous campaign schedule, including over 40 public meetings and joint rallies with Pawan Kalyan, to underline the party's active engagement in the electoral process.

The TDP leader also took a jibe at the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), accusing some members of defecting due to unfulfilled promises, and others of engaging in deceitful tactics to undermine TDP's efforts. Naidu accused the YSRCP government of financial mismanagement, particularly in relation to pension distribution and infrastructure projects like Amaravati and Polavaram, which he claimed have been devastated under Reddy's rule.

In his address, Naidu urged every candidate to closely integrate with the party cadre and communicate to the public that better days are ahead, positioning the TDP as the bearer of positive change against the alleged misrule of the current government.
