Perni Nani Criticizes Chandrababu Naidu's Promise on Volunteer Honorarium Increase

Chandrababu Naidu, on the occasion of Ugadi, made a promise that if the TDP-Janasena-BJP alliance comes to power, the honorarium for volunteers would be increased to Rs.10,000. Volunteers are currently receiving an honorarium of Rs.5,000, and Chandrababu Naidu has now pledged to double this amount.

Reacting to this, YSRCP MLA and former minister Perni Nani criticized Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of being habitual in making false promises to the people and then abandoning them. Perni Nani alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had intentions of destroying the volunteer system and now, failing to do so, he is pretending to show false affection towards them.

Perni Nani further claimed that Chandrababu Naidu changed his stance on the issue of volunteers due to public backlash. He stated that people would not fall for Chandrababu's deceitful promises and that volunteers working for public service would not be swayed by such tactics.

He also accused Chandrababu of being the one who had complaints filed against volunteers through Nimmagadda Ramesh and is now ironically preaching morals on the issue of volunteers.
