CM Jagan Promises Continuation of Welfare Schemes, Criticizes TDP's 'Impossible Promises

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy continued his "Memantha Siddham" bus tour in the Tirupati district today. This evening, he attended a large public meeting organized in Nayudupeta.

During his speech, he accused Chandrababu Naidu of being responsible for the deaths of 31 elderly people in the state today due to his malevolence. He criticized the arrogance and shamelessness of TDP MLAs who claimed that it was only after their insistence that Chandrababu stopped the pensions. CM Jagan vehemently questioned whether Chandrababu should be called a murderer or something even worse.

He stated that the volunteer system has been a thorn in Chandrababu's side, emphasizing that their government, which is expected to return to power on June 4, will prioritize this system. He assured that the distribution of pensions at the doorstep will continue as usual.

"This election is a clash between two different ideologies. On one side, there's an ideology that supports the poor, and on the other, one that favors landlords. We have come directly to you without any alliances, conspiracies, or compromises because we have been able to do good for every home. We are not interested in competing with Chandrababu's mishmash manifesto of impossible promises.

"Did Chandrababu fulfill any of the promises he made in 2014? He promised complete loan waivers for self-help groups, Rs. 25,000 for the birth of a girl child, unemployment benefits, loan waivers for farmers, and 3 cents of land for the poor. Did he fulfill even one promise?

"Now, those same people are coming back with a colorful manifesto, forming alliances under the name 'Super Six' to deceive the people again. Are these the kind of people we need?" he questioned, calling for star campaigners from every home to protect the poor from their deceptions and spread the word about the good deeds of his government.

"In another two months, your child will come back to power, aiming for a 'double century' by winning all 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats. I ask for your blessings," CM Jagan concluded.
