Amaravati: TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu is touring Kuppam in the Chittoor district. On the second day of his visit to Kuppam, he conducted a door-to-door campaign. During this, he, along with party workers and leaders, visited homes to inquire about the local issues faced by the residents and accepted their petitions detailing their problems.

Locals extended a warm welcome to Chandrababu and expressed confidence in winning Kuppam with a majority of one lakh votes this time. They assured that the TDP government would be established within two months, following which Chandrababu explained the development programs that would be undertaken.

Chandrababu strongly condemned the attack on a priest by a YCP leader at a Shiva temple in Kakinada. He addressed this incident as a gross action, reflecting the YCP leaders' disrespect towards our culture and traditions. "The tradition of venerating priests as mediators between God and devotees is ours.

Attacking such priests in front of devotees is a heinous act. This incident is indicative of the YCP leaders' power intoxication and their disdain for our culture and traditions. Since this government came to power, there have been consecutive attacks on idols in temples. Now, the situation has escalated to attacks on priests within the temple premises. The government must immediately take appropriate actions against the accused," said Chandrababu.
