Election Commission Dismisses 30 Volunteers for Participating in YSRCP Campaigns

The Election Commission (EC) has dismissed several volunteers, contract, and outsourcing staff for violating its orders and the code of conduct by campaigning for the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). On a single day, Tuesday, 30 individuals across the state were dismissed for participating in election campaigns in favor of YSRCP. These dismissals were made in various locations, including 16 volunteers in Ambedkar Konaseema district's Ambajipeta mandal who attended a local meeting organized by YSRCP and another 16 from the villages of Irusumanda and Mosapalli.

In Kurnool district's Emmiganur constituency, Gondla Mandal's Vemugodu village saw seven volunteers dismissed following a complaint to the Election Returning Officer by local residents for participating in a "We're Ready - Our Booth is Ready" campaign event organized by YSRCP. Additionally, in Emmiganur's 29th ward, volunteer Narasimhulu was removed from duty for door-to-door campaigning in support of YSRCP candidate Butta Renuka. In Kurnool's 127th ward, volunteer Manoj Kumar was dismissed for engaging in YSRCP favorable campaigning.

In Srikakulam district's Pathapatnam constituency, volunteer M. Manikanta was dismissed for participating in a campaign led by YSRCP leader and MLA Reddy Shanti's son, Om Srikrishna. Furthermore, in the Anakapalli district's Golugonda Mandal, Kotha Mallampet Secretariat volunteers Bolem Omkara Vijayalakshmi and Singampalli Durgabhavani were dismissed for campaigning on behalf of YSRCP. In Tirupati district's Erpedu Mandal, Madi Bakal volunteers were dismissed for taking part in a campaign organized by Biyyapu Madhusudan Reddy's daughter, Pavitra Reddy.

In Chittoor district's GD Nellore constituency, volunteer Rafi participated in a campaign for YSRCP candidate Kripalakshmi, leading to a complaint by Janasena leader Sobhan Babu to the Election Returning Officer.

Four dealers faced consequences in Anantapur district's Rayadurgam for participating in an election campaign organized by YSRCP MLA candidate Mettu Govind Reddy. Ward volunteer J. Ravi was dismissed, and the dealership licenses of Mekala Srinivasulu, president of the Town Chowk Dealers' Association, and dealers Vamsikrishna, Krishnamurthy, and Rafiq were revoked.

In Prakasam district's Kanigiri constituency, RTC depot conductor Obula Konda Reddy participated in a campaign event organized by YSRCP candidate Daddala Narayana in the villages of Neredupalli, Pothavaram, and Varimadugu. Konda Reddy is the husband of YSRCP leader and PCPalli ZPTC member Lakshmikantham.

In Podili, Markapuram's YSRCP candidate Anna Venkata Rambabu's son, Krishna Chaitanya, along with shift operator Sheikh Gous Mohiuddin of Mallavaram power substation, campaigned together. Additionally, volunteer Macharla Malyadri joined Daddala Narayana in campaigning at Lakshmakkapalli Secretariat.

Several contract employees were removed from their duties in Chittoor district for breaching regulations by participating in YSRCP campaigns. Among them, the employment guarantee scheme assistant Venkatesh from Kuppam constituency's Gudipalle Mandal and technical assistant Murugesh were dismissed.
