ED Conducts Medical Examinations on BRS MLC Kavitha; Grants her Permission for Family Meetings

Officials from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted medical examinations on BRS MLC Kavitha on Tuesday. She was arrested four days ago in connection with a Delhi liquor case and was taken to the national capital. Upon her arrival, she was presented in the Rouse Avenue Court, which has entrusted her to ED custody until the 23rd of this month. Before her court appearance, medical examinations were conducted. The ED officials are performing daily medical examinations following her custody.
Kavitha filed a petition in the Rouse Avenue Court seeking permission to meet her son and mother. The court granted permission accordingly, allowing her family visits from 6 PM to 7 PM. The court has permitted eight individuals to meet Kavitha, who is in ED custody. Among those allowed include her mother Shoba, her children, and other family members.
