YSRCP MLA Arthur Joins Congress Party

In a significant blow to the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in Andhra Pradesh, another MLA has departed from the party to join the opposition. It has been known that several leaders have already left the party. The latest to say goodbye to YCP is Nandikotkur MLA from Kurnool district, Arthur. Today, in the presence of AP PCC Chief Sharmila, Arthur joined the Congress Party. Sharmila welcomed him into the party by draping him with a Congress scarf.

The YCP has allocated the Nandikotkur election ticket to Dara Sudhir for the upcoming elections, leading to considerable disappointment for the incumbent MLA, Arthur. Recently, Bairreddy Siddharth Reddy played a crucial role in the appointment of the Nandikotkur Market Committee's governing body, with the chairman's position being secured by the individual proposed by Bairreddy.

The acquisition of the Market Committee governing body positions by members of the Bairreddy faction is said to have caused discontent to MLA Arthur. Despite Arthur's recommendation for Gandreddy Pratap Reddy for the chairman position of the Market Committee, he faced disappointment.

Furthermore, there are rumored to be differences between Arthur and the district in-charge minister, Anil Kumar Yadav.
