Supreme Court postpones hearing on petition to cancel Chandrababu's bail

Amaravati: In a relief to TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu ahead of the elections, the Supreme Court has postponed the hearing of a petition seeking to cancel the bail granted to him by the Andhra Pradesh High Court in a skill development case. The bench, consisting of Justices Bela M Trivedi and Pankaj Mittal, announced the postponement of the hearing until after the Holi holidays, scheduling the next session for April 16.

The Andhra Pradesh CID, in its petition, claimed that Chandrababu's family members are intimidating officials and the investigation agency, alleging that they are threatening to include their names in a "Red Diary". The Supreme Court's decision to delay the hearing of the petition until after the elections could be considered a temporary relief for Chandrababu, enabling him to campaign freely without any hindrances.
