Hyderabad: The Income Tax Department has once again targeted BRS MLA and former Minister Malla Reddy. Following allegations of selling management quota seats in Malla Reddy's colleges at higher fees, IT officials are conducting investigations. The detention of 40 students at Malla Reddy Agriculture University has led to tense situations there. Students and their parents are expressing anger, accusing the management of jeopardizing students' lives for profit. There are also allegations of not properly documenting transactions in the records. In this context, IT officials are conducting their inquiries.

The primary focus of the IT officials is on how much the management quota seats were sold for and how much fee each student has paid. IT officials have taken possession of the college records and have brought them to their office. The college management and staff have already been questioned by the IT department. There is information that assets exceeding the income in the names of relatives have already been identified.
