This evening, the TDP-BJP-Janasena alliance is holding a public meeting at Boppudi in the Chilakaluripet Mandal of Palnadu district. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, and Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan are attending the event. This marks the first time in ten years that these three leaders are appearing together on the same stage. They previously joined forces in 2014 to achieve victory in Andhra Pradesh. However, the alliance dissolved in 2019. The current circumstances have brought these three parties together once again.
The public meeting today marks the beginning of the electoral campaign for the alliance of these three parties. The event is about to start shortly, with supporters of TDP, BJP, and Janasena rallying to Boppudi in large numbers from various districts, riding bikes and cars. The rallying cry of the alliance is "End of YCP".
It is estimated that nearly 10 lakh people will attend the meeting, and extensive arrangements have been made accordingly. This is the first electoral meeting conducted after the alliance among the three parties was formed. The leaders intend to explain the benefits to the public if the alliance comes to power.
Prime Minister Modi is expected to arrive at the Gannavaram airport in Vijayawada at 4:10 PM this evening. From there, he will travel by helicopter to Boppudi. After landing, he will proceed by road and is expected to reach the meeting venue by 5:20 PM. Tight security measures are in place for the Prime Minister's visit, with the venue being secured by NSG personnel. A total of 5,000 police officers are deployed for security duties.
Seven helipads have been prepared for the arrival of Prime Minister Modi, Chandrababu Naidu, and Pawan Kalyan. Extensive preparations have been made over an area of 300 acres for the Boppudi public meeting. Alongside the three leaders, 27 other individuals will be present on the stage. A separate stage has been set up for cultural programs, and 24 galleries have been arranged in the meeting ground for the attendees and activists. Additionally, 20 large LED screens have been installed for the event.
Pawan Kalyan, along with his brother Nagababu, has arrived at the Boppudi meeting venue by helicopter.
