Pawan Kalyan Reflects on His Political Journey and Challenges

Pawan Kalyan, the Chief of Janasena, recently shared the challenges he faced during his political journey. During an event at the Janasena office in Mangalagiri, marking the party's founding day, he shared several interesting points. He mentioned that director Trivikram did not favor his entry into politics but stood by him during challenging times in party management.

"If we had about 10 MLAs and two MP seats by now, we would have been recognized as a significant political party. No one was willing to implement my strategy that day. I know millions would follow me, not just as voters but in sheer numbers. I'm clear about that. What's tragic is that I knew I would lose the elections in 2019. Winning or losing a battle does not concern me. After facing all this, abandoning movies, having no money, despite a huge fan base, and then losing, I wondered if all this affection for the country was worth it."

"I didn't understand how to run a party or where the funds would come from. At such a time, my friend Trivikram Srinivas, who stood by me, deserves my heartfelt thanks. Someone needs to think about me if I'm thinking about society. We did 'Vakeel Saab' and three to four other movies. He didn't like me entering politics at all. I wanted to join a movement in my teenage years but couldn't. My heart was filled with anger towards society. Seeing my distress, he wrote those feelings into movie dialogues, thinking I wouldn't enter politics, like the interval scene in 'Jalsa'. Finally, seeing my determination, he gave up, saying 'Do as you wish,'" Pawan Kalyan recounted.
