CM Revanth Reddy criticizes BRS for increase in drugs and lack of development in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: During the BRS regime, Hyderabad has seen an influx of cannabis, pubs, and drugs, criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He made these remarks near the Rajiv Rahadari near Alwal Times in Secunderabad during the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of an elevated corridor on Thursday. The corridor, stretching over 11 kilometers with 6 lanes, is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 2,232 crores.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy stated that he had brought the matter of the elevated corridor to the attention of the central government. He accused the previous government of neglecting the needs of the people and setting aside this project due to disputes with the central government.

However, after coming into power, he explained the importance of the Rajiv Elevated Corridor to the center, stating that its completion is essential for the development of Medchal. He criticized the BRS regime, stating that the city had not seen any development during their tenure. He also announced that the second phase of the Metro expansion would extend over 75 kilometers.
