MP Lavu Srikrishnadevaraya from Narasaraopet has joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Along with him, a significant number of leaders have also moved to TDP. A massive public meeting was organized in Dachepalli, Gurajala constituency, which was attended by TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu.

In the presence of Chandrababu Naidu, Lavu Srikrishnadevaraya joined the Telugu Desam Party. Chandrababu Naidu welcomed the young MP into the party, symbolically draping him with the party's scarf and congratulating him.

Speaking on the occasion, Lavu Srikrishnadevaraya expressed his belief in the TDP's commitment to supporting agricultural projects in the Palnadu region. He mentioned that during the last five years, his focus was primarily on projects and issues related to Palnadu. He clarified that he has never excessively praised anyone or unnecessarily criticized anyone on any platform. He made it clear that he would continue to work for the people of Palnadu. It is known that Lavu Srikrishnadevaraya recently resigned from the YSRCP.

Lavu Srikrishnadevaraya had won the MP seat from Narasaraopet in the last elections. However, it is known that former minister Anil Kumar Yadav is contesting as the YSRCP candidate from Narasaraopet this time.
