Liger script based on Allu Arjun’s idea: Puri Jagannadh
Hyderabad, August 24: Tollywood director Sukumar interviewed Puri Jagannadh ahead of Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger release on August 25. To a question, Jagannadh recalled actor Allu Arjun telling him about a Hollywood director during the shooting of Iddarammayilatho.
“Bunny told me that Hollywood director always shows heroes with disabilities in his movies and asked me to write a script for a Telugu film on the similar line,” he revealed and said that he started writing the script of Liger during the pandemic.
Sukumar informed Jagannadh that he met him for the first time in Ameerpet at a tea hotel while he was trying to become an assistant director in Telugu film industry. Liger director mentioned that he will modify dialogues if the actors are uncomfortable to deliver the same in front of the camera. Sukumar wished that Liger should become a massive hit and collect Rs 1,000 crore worldwide.
