JC Diwakar Reddy responds to question ‘ED raided for not joining BJP’
Tadipatri, June 18: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials completed searches in the residences of former TDP MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy here and also in Hyderabad. The ED seized valuable documents, Rs 1 crore cash and diamond necklace worth Rs 2 crore.
Officials have identified that JC brothers have assets worth hundreds of crores. They questioned former minister JC Diwakar Reddy regarding registration of 154 vehicles purchased under scrap by creating fake NOCs and invoices and using them for transportation.
Talking to reporters, Diwakar stated that the he has no information regarding political conspiracy behind the ED raids. When a reporter asked him as to whether the ED raided his houses because he rejected to join the BJP, the TDP leader mentioned that he will know within two days. According to reports, BJP national secretary and Andhra Pradesh in-charge Sunil Deodhar met Diwakar a month ago and invited him to join the BJP.
