Bindu Madhavi is the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss OTT

Hyderabad: Heroine Bindu Madhavi has become the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss OTT. She was announced as the winner by show host Nagarjuna Akkineni in the grand finale on Saturday night. She emerged as the winner in the fifth season of Bigg Boss despite stiff competition from Akhil Sarthak. This is the first time that a female contestant has emerged as the winner of the Bigg Boss Telugu version.

Many of the contestants, who appeared in Bigg Boss also took part in the first season of Bigg Boss OTT. From all of them, Bindu Madhavi faced tough competition. However, she pushed them all back and made history by becoming the first woman winner of the Bigg Boss OTT first season.

It learnt that Bindu Madhavi secured more votes than Akhil Sardhak, who gave a tight competition to the former. It is known that she has acted as a heroine in many films in Telugu as well as Tamil. Hence, Bindu Madhavi received huge support not only from the Telugu audience, but also from Tamil. While Akhil received support only from the Telugu audience. With this, analysts pointed out that Bindu Madhavi pushed back Akhil and became the winner.
